I was born and raised in Memphis, TN however, I moved to New York City to become a registered dietitian and received my Masters from New York University. For as long as I can remember, I have been intrigued by the diet industry, yet I had no idea that these diets didn’t work until starting my journey to become a registered dietitian.

I discovered that I did not actually know anything about nutrition besides what all the popular diets out there claimed were healthy.

As I got deeper and deeper into my education, I realized that most of us don’t even know WHAT or HOW to eat due to the “diet culture noise.” If we combined what every diet out there said to not eat, we might not have any other options!

As I began understanding nutrition, I knew I wanted to teach as many people as possible the basics of nutrition.

I want to teach you that food does not need to be complicated.

Food is fuel and without food we would not be here today.

I also want people to realize that food is so much more than what it makes us look like or what the scale tells us.

Once you start making food choices for other reasons than your weight, you will begin to live a much freer life.

Each one of us has our own unique relationship with food.

My goal is to listen to your story, meet you where you are, provide education, and help you get to a place where food does not rule your mind and where you feel good from the inside out.

My Philosophy

Nutrition seems confusing from the outside but my goal is to make it less complicated.

I take a very individualized approach and help my clients figure out what will work best for them. When working with my clients, I like to focus on what foods we should ADD to our diet instead of taking away.

When you start focusing on the benefits and stop demonizing foods you will begin to have a much better mindset around food.

There are so many awesome benefits to food, but we often overlook them when choosing what to eat since we are so focused on what we “shouldn’t” eat.

My goal is to empower my clients to choose foods that will make them feel good and also taste good.

My mission is to help my clients feel more confident in food choices, improve their relationship with food and ditch the dieting mindset so they can live life to their fullest potential without obsessing over every calorie or the number on the scale.

I will create a unique and individualized plan based on the clients goals, food preferences, lifestyle habits, medical history & most importantly, their relationship with food.
